Combat Chess — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
Short version: Combat Chess does not collect, store, or share any personal
data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no account with
us. There is no server of ours for your data to be sent to.
What the app stores — on your device only
- Game data. Your saved single-player game, match history (wins/losses,
fight statistics), and settings (difficulty, CPU Elo, sound, haptics) are
stored locally on your device. They never leave it, except as described under
Game Center below. Deleting the app deletes this data.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders
locally on your device for online matches awaiting your move. Nothing about
these is sent anywhere.
Game Center (optional — only if you play online)
Online multiplayer is provided by Apple’s Game Center. If you choose to
play online, Apple handles the matchmaking, your Game Center identity, and the
delivery of turns and notifications. In that case:
- Your Game Center nickname and your game moves are transmitted through
Apple’s servers to your opponent, so that you can play. That is inherent to
playing an online match.
- The developer of Combat Chess operates no server and receives, stores,
and has access to none of this data.
- Apple’s handling of Game Center data is governed by Apple’s own privacy
policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
If you never use online play, no data leaves your device at all.
What we do NOT do
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties (we have none to sell).
Children
Combat Chess is safe for general audiences and collects no data from anyone,
including children.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published in this
